- Blora Regency of Central Java Province has the abundant natural resources of limestone and sand. Availability of limestone estimated to be 3,642,864,149.81 m3. To optimally increase the potential natural resources as normal concrete-making materials, it is necessary to examine the physical characteristic of limestone and sand. After knowing the material characteristic, the normal concrete mix can be produced and examined the characteristic of normal concrete from local material, including compressive strength, flexural strength, elasticity modulus and waterproof characteristic of the concrete. This research is expected to give contribution to the infrastructure development in Blora Regency and increase local revenue derived from tax collection and Processing of Minerals class C according to Regulation of Blora Regency No. 2 of 1988. The material used in this research is crushed limestone from Bogorejo District, natural sand from Kradenan District, Blora Regency and PPC typecement (Portland Pozolan Cement) with Semen Gresik label.
