Daftar Isi:
  • Flat membrane from polysulfone material has been made using polyvinyl pyrrolidones that have molecular weight of 10 kDa and 25 kDa as an additive, and dimethyl acetamide as a solvent. The membrane has been made by phase inversion using water as a coagulant. Flux and rejection of two membranes were compared in order to know the effect of molecular weight of additive on membranes characteristic. Results show that molecular weight of additive use in making the membrane affects flux and rejection of membrane because of different pore size obtained. Keywords: Polysulfone, Flat membrane, Polyvinil pyrrolidone, Flux, Rejection.
