- Communication competence is critical in the development of libraries, especially in improving its service. It is therefore necessary to step up communication competencies for all library staff. One effort that can be done is to make effective communication. To enhance effective communication competence there are several requirements that must be met, namely better listening skills, increased ability to communicate with library users, an increase in nonverbal communication, and to simulate the ability to communicate in the library.
