- This research deals with a man who struggles in his life. To get a better life reflected in major character of Craig Brewer’s movie; Hustle and Flow. The aim of this research is to analyze the movie based on Individual Psychological Approach. The researcher employs the descriptive qualitative as a type of the research. The data sources are divided into two, namely primary data source and secondary data source. The primary data source is the movie itself, Hustle and Flow casted by Craig Brewer and the secondary data source is information related to the primary data source, and website. The method of collecting data is library research, released document to be observed. The steps of analyzing data of this research are analyzing the structural elements of the work and analyzing the Individual Psychological perspectives of the work. The method of analyzing data is descriptive technique. Based on the data that have been collected and analyzed, the writer concludes that Hustle and Flow reflects the struggling story in facing the problem of life that happens in twenty first century that everyone wants to get a better life and to compete each other. Craig Brewer describes a man who struggles and has efforts to face the problem and to reach his dream by showing his views and attitudes.
