- One of the disorders that can occur in children is mental retardation. Mental retardation is a disability / disabilities that is characterized by intellectual functioning that is below average and impairment in adaptive skills that occur before the child turns 18 years of age. Intellectual functioning that is below average will certainly hinder all the activities of everyday life. The occurrence of mental retardation can be caused due to the presence of disorder on the phase of prenatal, perinatal and phase of the postnatal. The ability of children with mental retardation differ from one another depending on the function of the intellectual. Therefore then be made to the application to determine the level of ability of the child based on the results of the assessment carried out by parents and teachers so parents and teachers can do the teaching / education appropriate for children with mental retardation in accordance with his ability. This application-based website using PHP programming language and using a MySQL database. In this application there are 68 questions which are divided into 5 aspects, namely cognitive, language, fine motor, gross motor and self-help. Based on this, produced a website that can be used by both parents and teachers to be able to determine the ability of the child in aspects of cognitive, language, fine motor, gross motor, and self-help.
