  • Background : Breakfast is an activity of consuming balance nutrition in the morning that contain 20%-30% of total energy. Breakfast aim to provide energy for doing activities per day and improve concentration of learning and memory. The increase of physical activities may increases stimulus and decrease boredom. Therefore can improve the students focus in the learning process. Objective : The research aims to determine the correlation between breakfast contribution and physical activities on students achievement at SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. Research method : The type of research was observational with cross sectional approach with total sample of 57 students. Sampling method uses systematic random sampling technique. Data of breakfast obtained through 24-hour food recall, the data of physical activity obtained through a questionnaire of physical activity and learning achievement data obtained through the report. The data were analysed by Pearson Product Moment. Result : Students with breakfast contribution ≥ 25 % tend to have higher good learning performance (69.7 %), compared with students who have a breakfast contribution < 25 %. Good students achievement owned by students with high physical activity (37.5%) compared with students who have moderate and low physical activity. There is a relationship between breakfast contribution on student achievement in SMA 2 Sukoharjo (p = 0.012). There is no relationship between physical activity on student achievement in SMA 2 Sukoharjo (p = 0.870). Conclusion : There was a correlation between breakfast contribution and students achievement at SMA 2 Sukoharjo. There was no correlation between physical activity and students achievement at SMA 2 Sukoharjo. Keywords : Breakfast, Physical Activity, Achievement
