- Background. Tuberculosis controlwas still commited inIndonesia. The ways is findingand treatingnew cases. To assistthe finding ofnew cases, recording and reporting systemshould be improved. Enterprisesshould be addressedtobuild a data base. This studyaims tofindeffective andefficientmodelin therecording and reportingof tuberculosis cases. Subjects and Methods. This studyused a qualitative approachto the design ofcompositesystems developmentmethod ofSystemDevelopment LifeCycle (SDLC) and prototyping. SDLCisa frameworktoexplainthe stagesinvolved in thedevelopment of information systems, theevaluationsystem, the newsystem definition, system design, development of new systems, the useof new systems andsystemevaluation. The prototypeisexperimentaland is nota completesystem designthatwas built quicklyand cheaply. The stages is identifyingthe needs of users, prototypedevelopment, prototyperepair, and operationandmaintenance ofthe approvedsystem. The research method usedin this studyis the evaluation ofthe existing system, the newsystem definition, system design based on user requirementsandprototypedevelopment. Results. This researchhad designeda prototypeapplication inassisting databasecontruction of tuberculosisin Health Department. Researchdevelopment ofa prototypesystem has beenbuiltdatabase, input, outputin the form oftablesand graphsreportCDRindicatorsthat canbe done onlineandopen source software(OpenSource). Conclusion. This modelis acombination ofSDLC-prototype. This model canto eliminate data redundancy, update them onthe data, presenta descriptiveanalysisin the form oftablesandgraphs that showone indicator ofthe success ofthe case detectionrate(CDR) Tuberculosis control.
