- IMS cases in Kartasura is the highest in Sukoharjo with 43 cases in 2015. This number is caused by the courtship risk. The current risk of courtship behavior is mostly done by teenagers. Not only to get to know each other more deeply, but also to have risk behavior like kissing, necking, petting and intercourse. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between knowledge, attitude and exposure to mass media with teenage courtship behavior in Kartasura Sukoharjo. This research uses analytic survey method with cross sectional design. The population in this study is all teenagers aged 10-19 years who are in Kartasura Sukoharjo with a minimum sample of 120 people. Sampling using quota sampling. The analysis used chi square. The result of statistical test shows that there is a correlation between knowledge (p = 0,024) attitude (p = 0,000) and mass media exposure (p = 0,000) with courtship behavior in Kartasura Sukoharjo.
