Cara Mengatasi Masalah Pada Siswa Smp Yang Terindikasi Emotional Problem

- Emotional problems that experienced by adolescents is ssualy associated with the with the period of transition from hildren to adulthood. The process of this transition could happen when in childhood are less prepared to deal with new conditions under social pressure. The early research conduct on 227 junior high school student show that 15% of students indicated the emotional problem in high need level. The result of percentage is not much, but the emotional problem that is not immediately anticipated can develop become mental disorder emotional. This study aims to reveal the dynamics of coping of junior high school students who emotional problems. This study uses qualitative descriptive narrative, with the six informants that are chosen by purposive sampling with criteria that students are indicated emotional problems with high levels of need. In this study the researcher uses screening Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) scale and semi structured interviews to collect the data. The results of this study indicate that the source of problems experienced by the informant is from friendship, family and from within yourself. The party that led to the emergence of problems in students is the teacher, grandmother and friend. While the party that helped in resolving the problem is friends, teachers and parents. How to troubleshoot on the students conducted in maladaptive i.e. by choosing silence and let when ridiculed, some of the students instead 2of acting aggressively as reply to taunt, beat and break down the table. But on the other hand students are also addressing the problem in doing business with Adaptive resolution such as seeking social support from others and strive forward and sincere in dealing with the problem
