- Many people have ever experienced Near-Death Experience. This kind of experience mostly is caused by severe illness, vital organs damaged because of accident, or incident or seems to be unable to avoid death. In this experience, individual is having diverse phenomena, for example meet with deceased relatives, witnessing light, heading to a tunnel or peaceful feeling or meeting with religious figure. There are similarities of Near-Death Experience phenomena across cultures in stating that death component might be similar between cultures. The purpose of this research is to understand and to describe the physiological dynamics toward people who have ever experienced Near-Death Experience (NDE). Informant of this research is 6 people who meet the research criteria which are ever survived in facing illness with death risk or ever had a severe accident and sentenced to be unable to survive but somehow survive, 17 years old and older and willing to be the informant of the research. Researcher concludes Near-Death Experience is an event of approaching death by involving alterations of attitude, activity, and thought. Near-Death Experience is initiated by cognitive element as the event before the incident for example daydreaming, recalling his/her parents, followed by transcendental element which occurs during the event of NDE like seeing white figure, witnessing light, seeing him/her selves, meeting with decreased family and then followed by emotional element like feeling pleased, and unconditional love, and has an aftereffect like undergoing his/her life sincerely, able to accept his/her life, and lessening of fear toward death.
