  • Currently, developing of learning especially memorizing the qur’an or known Tahfidzul Qur’an has many applied by educational instution in Indonesia. One of them is a boarding school. Boarding school of Tahfidzul Qur’an is a place that specializes memorizing the Qur’an. One of the factors that influence memorizing is intelligence. Intelligence consists of some cognitive abilities, such as concentration, memorize and visualize. The aspecs of intelligence can be contained by a profile. Understanding intelligence profile on Tahfidzul Qur’an’s students based on intelligence factors are importent as the knowledge and point of evaluation refers to boarding school. This reseach is to know dominance aspecs of intelligence on the students. Intelligence profile on Tahfidzul Qur’an’s student revealed using IST (Intelligence Structure Test). The subjects in this research are Tahfidzul Qur’an’s student in PPTQ Ibnu Abbas Klaten at least 16 years old. The subjects were taken by purposive method and be obtained 60 students. The data of this research analyzed by cualitative method of description. Based on data analysis result, students in PPTQ Ibnu Abbas Klaten grouped into three categories, intelligence profile on all students, intelligence profile on male students, intelligence profile on female students. Intelligence aspecs that high dominance with high category on all student is language sense (WA) and memory (ME), that is related understanding information, memorizing and concentration. While the intelligence aspects that low category is counting (RA).
