  • Memorizing the Qur’an has a great virtue, it makes the islamic religious schools and conducting tahfidz Qur’an. Students who follow the activities tahfidz addition to master the general subjects, student are also required to memorize the Qur’an. It can make the concerns of student will be burdened with many obligations so feel despressed and do not prosper in school. This study wil compare the well-being of the students who participated in tahfidz between the Qur’an and not the event. The research was conducted by survey method on 150 X junior high school student in Surakarta, composed of 75 student participants tahfidz Qur’an (male: 4 : female: 71) and 75 students are not participants tahfidz (male: 17 ; female: 58), with an average age 13 years. Measuring instruments used to determine the well-being of the student is the student well-being scale. The data collacted tested using parametric statistical analysis techniques through independent sample t-test. The results showed koefesien comparative test of data t= 0,948 signification = 0,345 (p > 0,05). This means that there are differences signification in the student well-being who follow the activities of tahfidz Qur’an and student who are not follow the activities of tahfidz Qur’an. The average score of the studentnwell-being who participated in the tahfidz Qur’an larger than student who did not take part in tahfidz Qur’an, but still in the high category.
