  • The purpose of this research is to analyze: 1) organizational commitment on job satisfaction. 2) job characteristics on job satisfaction. 3) organizational commitment on work motivation. 4) job characteristics on work motivation. 5) work motivation on job satisfaction. The data of this research is the premier data which was obtained from 123 respondents who are employes Maintenance Execution PT. Pertamina RU IV Cilacap (Persero). The analytical method used is path analysis. The test results of each research instruments concluded that all the question are valid and reliable for each variable. Classic assumption test shows that the normal distribution of data, does not happen multikolinearitas and does not happen heteroskedastisitas. The results of this study show that: 1) organizational commitment positive and significant effect on job satisfaction with work motivation. 2) job characteristics positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. 3) organizational commitment positive and significant effect on work motivation. 4) job characteristics positive and significant effect on work motivation. 5) work motivation positive and significant effect on job satisfaction
