  • Background: Football is a branch of sport which mostly liked by many people especially men, children, teenager, and adult. In football it needs good stamina such as dynamic balance. The function of dynamic balance is to minimize injury, involve the activity of muscle and movement of body, avoids the other player. According to Wahyudi (2007) ankle injury is a second problem faced by player after knee injury. Objectives: to know the relation between dynamic balance of body toward ankle injury risk. methods: this research uses observational method cross sectional approach which is collecting the data using practice and measurement. The type of this research is correlation between variable. This research using Modified Bass Test, Anterior Drawer Test and Talar Tilt Test. Results: the research using correlation coefficient contingent test then continue to find odds ratio. Based on the measurement between the two dynamic balance variable and ankle injury risk, the result is p value = 0,001 and with odds ratio is 8, it means that the football player who has good balance has 8 times possibility not to have a risk of ankle injury. Conclusions: it can be concluded that there is a correlation between dynamic balances toward ankle injury risk for football player.
