  • Background : The number of hearing disorder in Indonesia is still high, Schwabach test is one of the qualitative test to examine hearing disorders by comparing the bone conduction with the examiner with normal hearing. One of the hearing disorder risk factors is a noise pollution from industry machine. Technology advances in industrial sector have managed to create a wide variety of machinery products which on the process often creating noise pollution or a loud sound from the workplace. One of the Indonesia industry that uses many machines is furniture factory. Research Objectives : The purpose of this study is to discover the differences in test results Schwabach at the furniture factory workers exposed to noise directly and indirectly in the Jepara furniture industry. Research Methodology : This study is an analytical observational study with cross sectional approach, samples taken with purposive sampling of 40 people, twenty samples exposed to noise directly, and twenty samples exposed to noise indirectly. Data analysis with Kruskal wallis test processed using Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) 23.0 for Windows. Research Result : From data statistical count p = <0,001 (p<0,005). Research Conclusions : There is a differences in test results Schwabach very significant at the furniture factory workers exposed to noise directly and indirectly in the Jepara furniture industry.
