- The Resort of Lake Singkarak in Tanah Datar disstrick area is a nature tourism and recreational tourism area of neo vernacular concept. The location its design is in Tanah Datar regency in the province of West Sumatra. The reason of the construction of this Resort Hotel because the area has potential for development as a tourist area. Tanah Datar is a district that has many natural attractions. Therefore, the designed of the hotel is to increase the potential capacity and increase many visitors to Tanah Datar. The function of this hotel is not only as a means to stay, but also the means to enjoy the natural attractions that are located around the hotel area. The Resort is designed for Neo Vernacular concept which is a combination of traditional building concepts and modern buildings. This concept aims to preserve the culture of nature, so that the culture can be enjoyed in hereditary and known by many people. The use of this concept aims to follow the condition of public buildings that are in this area so that the alignment of buildings so that this region has its own characteristics. Based on the existing problems can be created an inn that neo vernacular concept that can be enjoyed by a lot so it can accommodate local and foreign travelers within the next 10 years through the calculation of the number of tourists visiting the region.
