  • This research aims to increase the participation of students in the learning process Civic Education student at Junior High School of 5 Muhammadiyah Surakarta in grades VII-C academic year 2015/2016 through learning model with strategies Everyone is a Teacher Here combines Card Sort. Participation of student learning very low prior to the test models and teachers are seeking alternative solutions, such as: using group discussions and lectures. The result of the premises strategy has not been able to increase the participation of student learning. The solution offered in this study is a model of learning by strategy Everyone is a Teacher Here combines Card Sort to increase the participation of student learning. The subjects were students of class VII-C at Junior High School of 5 Muhammadiyah Surakarta academic year 2015/2016, amounting to 35 learners. Data were collected through informants and resource persons, ongoing places and events activities of the learning process. The techniques of data collection by using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Procedure development in this research through several stages of designing a model of learning, planning, implementation, and evaluation and improvement. The study was conducted through two test models. Hopefully, through learning model with strategies Everyone is a Teacher Here combines Card Sort to increase participation in the learning process of learn Civic Education at Junior High School of 5 Muhammadiyah Surakarta students in grades VII-C academic year 2015/2016 can be increased by at least 80% of the 35 students. The results of this study indicate that the participation of learning in students of class VII-C 5 at Junior High School of 5 Muhammadiyah Surakarta 2015/2016 academic year before being held research through learning model with strategies Everyone is Teacher here combines Card Sort are as many as 10 children (28.57%). After testing the model is through learning model with strategies Everyone is a Teacher Here combines Card Sort, test model I increased to 27 students (77.14%) and the model II trials increased to 32 students (91.42%).
