Ponorogo (Devita Pramaswary, 2016, 51 Pages) Background : Antebrachii fracture is a break continuitas adius ulna bone caused injury at the forearm. In the case of fracture antebrachii can be given action Open Reduction Internal Fixation (ORIF) with the mounting plate and screw. On the condition of post ORIF antebrachii fracture will cause various problems include pain, decreased muscle strength, limited range of motion (LGS) and functional impairment of the joints elbow and forearm dextra. Objective: To determine the benefits of Infrared and exercise therapy in reducing pain, improving LGS, increase muscle strength, and improve functional activities in case of Post Operation Fractures Proximal 1/3 Antebrachii Dextra. Results: A decrease pain by using Visual Description Scale (VDS), for tenderness at T1=3 to T6=1, painful motion becomes T1=5 to T6=2. Increased range of motion for the elbow joint on the T1 S=0°-0°-100 ° to T6 S=0°-0°-145°, for joint forearm T1 R=40°-0°-50° to T6 R=60°-0°-75°. Increased strength with MMT to elbow joint flexor and extensor muscle group T1=3 to T6=4, for joint forearm pronator muscle group becomes T1=3 to T6=4, while the supinator muscle group is not increased, namely from T1-T6 value 3. Increase the ability to use UEFS functional activity of difficulty value T1=80% to T6=60%. Conclusion: Infra red and exercise therapy can reduce pain, improve LGS, muscle strength and improving the functional activity. Keywords : Fracture antebrachii, infra red, and exercise herapy.
