Essay is a work produced by a student in the classroom and the wreath shape a story. There are two research objectives to be achieved. (1) describe the forms of use of reduplikasi (the word) on the essay grade VII B Junior High School Muhammadiyah Surakarta 8. (2) identify the type of analysis of the words and the meaning of the word in use of reduplikasi (the word) on the essay grade VII B Junior High School Muhammadiyah Surakarta 8. This study uses data from the Junior High School student essay Muhammadiyah Surakarta 8. The data source in this research in the form of a wreath of students from Junior High School Muhammadiyah Surakarta 8 Class VII B. Form this research uses Qualitative Research. The method of data collection on this research by using the technical documentation. The analysis of the data used in this research methods agih and methods in methods frontier. From the results of research, there are four basic forms reduplication in the student's essay, that reduplication the whole, reduplication part, reduplication with the process of putting an affix, and reduplication changes phonemes.
