Essay. Faculty of Education,University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. March 2016. Learning styles of every student is different. Appropriate learning styles will help them in the learning process. Students attention is also important for students to understand and grasp the material. The purpose of this study was to determine is there: 1) Effect of learning styles on mathematics problem-solving skills; 2) effect of students attention on mathematics problem-solving skills; 3) Effect of learning styles and studens attention on mathematics problem-solving skills. This type of research is quantitative. The population in this research is class V SDN Soropadan No. 108 Surakarta academic year 2015/2016, with sample of all studens in class V totaling 33 students. In this research did not use sampling techniques because the sample used is a population sample. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis, t test, and F test. Based on the analysis of data: 1) The results of the t test learning styles prob. t < α (0,005 < 0,05), learning styles positively affects mathematics problem-solving skills; 2) The results of the t test students attention prob. t < α (0,009 < 0,05), students attention positively affects mathematics problem-solving skills; 3) The results of the F test prob. F stat < α (0,000 < 0,05), means learning styles and students attention affects the mathematics problem-solving skills class V SDN Soropadan no. 108 Surakarta academic year 2015/2016.
