  • The students need involving their metakognitif to solve applications infinite series problems so the students’ thought can be more focused and organized. The research aim to describe student’s metacognitive in aspects of planning, monitoring, and evaluating in solve applications infinite series problems. This kind of research is descriptive qualitative. Time of doing this research is on the odd semester year 2015/2016. Subject of this research is the teacher and the student of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Blora. The technique of data collection is by observation, interviewing, and documentation. The technique of data analyze is by reduction data, presentation of data, and conclusion. Data validity was confirmed by triangulation methods. The results explain that (1) student’s metakognitive in aspect of planning is not optimal yet; the student cannot understand the material concept optimally, the student cannot understand the meaning of the question, so the student cannot determine which one is know and asked from the question, the student cannot arrange the appropriate with the question’s prospect, (2) student’s metakognitive in aspect of monitoring and evaluating is not optimal; information suitability from the question and formula which is determined by the student is not appropriate, the suitability of the formula and calculation carried out is not appropriate and there are errors.
