- Inhaler is a tool used for asthmatics to incorporate the drug into the respiratory tract Inhalers are designed to increase the easiness of use. Advancements in inhalation therapy technology has been a great benefit for patients with respiratory diseases. The aim in this research is to measure the percentage of accuration use of inhaler on asthma patient in district hospital of Sukoharjo in period of august 2015. This type of research is non-experimental research conducted observational and and the data were analyzed with descriptive method. Respondent in this research with purposive sampling method. The respondent used were patient hospital of Sukoharjo using the drug with the dosage inhaler who meet the inclusion criteria specified. Inclusion criteria sample is, asthma patients in hospitals Sukoharjo aged >12 years, using the inhaler independently, using the inhaler types of MDI (Metered Dose Inhaler), MDI (Metered Dose Inhaler) with a spacer, or DPI (Dry Powder Inhaler), and willing to become respondents. The accuracy of the use of inhalers in asthma patients is 10 respondents (31,25%) from 32 rspondents who said right because do not skip important steps in the using of inhalers.The important steps is whisk inhaler tube, exhalation before using the inhaler, insert the inhaler into the mouth and close the mouth tightly, draw breath after the inhaler sprayed into the mouth, and hold your breath for 5-10 seconds.
