- Force Vital Capacity was one of dynamic volume component of lung which could give explanation of respiratory function. One major risk factor that leads to decreasing respiratory function was exposed pollutant that inhales every day. The air pollution rate in big and moderate cities in Indonesia increases every year. The study design was analitic observational with cross sectional method. The respondent was divided into 30 BAA & BAU officers in Kampus I Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta and 30 Supeltas Satlantas of Surakarta, taken with purposive sampling method. The measurement of FVC taken at Biomedic I Medical Faculty of UMS. Data was analized using unpaired T test with SPSS 22.0 for Mac The result shows the p value was 0,000 (p<0,001) which means there was significant difference value of FVC (p<0,001) in men between officer and exposed pollution workers
