Hubungan Antara Kebiasaan Jogging Dengan Tingkat Kebugaran Remaja Usia 15-18 Tahun

- Background: Jogging is an exercise activity such as running - a small run at speeds below 11km per hour or 5.5 minutes per km which aims to improve fitness. Adolescents aged 15-18 years are in need of fitness because many do various activities both during school and after school. Results of a preliminary study on 10 young men and women proved that teenagers who regularly jogging have a good fitness level. Objective: To identify the correlaion between jogging habits with fitness level on teenager 15-18 years old. Methods : This research used in this study was observational with cross sectional approach where a sample of 192 people measured fitness with a test run 2,4 km. Fitness measurement with a test run of 2.4 km is done by running the sample with a distance of 2,4 km using parameters such as stopwatch and fitness levels will be based on the time taken. Data were analyzed using chi square to see whether or not the the correlaion between jogging habits with fitness level on teenager 15-18 years old. Results: There was a the correlaion between jogging habits with fitness level on teenager 15-18 years after statistick with chi square test p-value 0.000 obtained. Conclusions: There is a the correlaion between jogging habits with fitness level on teenager 15-18 years old.
