  • Appendicitis is an appendices inflammation which was caused by appendices lumen obstruction due to intestine materials. If this happen, appendectomy is necessarily done. In this research, analgesic was used as a painkiller after an operation. So, the researcher needs to understand the explanation of how to use analgesic and to evaluate the accuracy of its use. The evaluation comprises the indication accuracy, the medicine accuracy, the patient accuracy, and the dosage accuracy on appendectomy patients. This research was non experimental, uses retrospective method, and was descriptively analyzed. The research criteria are appendicitis patients who are taking appendectomy. The patients are 18 to 60 years old and get analgesic therapy. The researcher also has complete data on patient’s medicines, diagnosis, other diseases, and the recovery condition. The finding on evaluation of the use of analgesic on appendectomy patients at Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro Klaten is that the administration of intra venous ketorolac is 100%, then it is continued by mefenamic acid 86, 67%, metamizole 8,89%, na diklofenac 2,22%, and paracetamol 15, 56%. The result is that the indication accuracy is 100%, the patient accuracy is 100%, the medicine accuracy is 54,16%, the medicine inaccuracy is 45,84%, the dosage accuracy is 92,71%, and the dosage inaccuracy is 7, 29%.
