- ABSTRACT In IPS learning process, a teacher should have to apply the right model of learning process and it should be suitable with the condition of the student and the material who will be learnt. It is done to get optimal learning research. One of the teaching model didn’t learn by the teacher is cooperative learning model, the type is Teams Games Tournament (TGT) who can be able bring the student into the enjoying to study and then make the student more active in the learning process. The aim of research is to know about the illustration of the student learning response at the IPS subject who using model of TGT type and to know the different of learning result of the student at IPS subject among using learning type TGT model and learning conventional model, and also to know how far it can influence the learning result of the student as significant at IPS subject.
