- ABSTRACT The research based on the low of teachers’ perfomance, so it can decrese the educational purposes. The purposes of the research are to find out the description of the leadership of principle, teachers’ competency, tearchers’ motivation, and teachers’ perfomance of IPS at SMP Negeri in Kota Cirebon. The influence of the leader- ship of principle, the teachers’ competency, and the teachers motivation to the teachers’ appearance of IPS in SMP Negeri Kota Cirebon. The research uses decriptive analysis. The population of the research is the IPS teachers at SMP Negeri in Kota Cirebon which are 99 teachers of 18 schools. The high of the leadership of the principle at SMP Negeri Cirebon based on opinion of the respondent is 79,64%. The high of teachers’ motivation at SMP Negeri in Kota Cirebon is 80,01%. The high competency at SMP Negeri in Kota Cirebon is 81,17%. The high of teachers’ perfo- mance at SMP Negeri in Kota Cirebon is 78,25%. There influence of the leadership of the principle to the teachers’ competency. There is influence positive influence of the leadership of the principle and the teachers’ competency to the teachers’ motivation. There is influence of the leadership of the principle, the teachers’ competency and the teachers’ motivation to the teachers’ perfomance, but it is not significant.
