  • This study examines the values of Pancasila and civic education on the thematic text-book of 2013 curriculum-revised edition at fourth class in the primary school and how the values integrated into the thematic text-book. The values of Pancasila and civic education are important to develop students’ awareness to be good citizen. To gain the data regarding to the research questions, a documentative study was taken. In analyzing the data, this study using content analysis method and the results shows that the values of Pancasila and civic education built into students through the thematic books are the religious values, obedience, and tolerance, equality and morality, sovereignty and nationalism, democracy, wisdom, and persistency. One of the value which frequently integrated on the book is the moral values related to the way to feel, to think, and to act. Whereas the integration was designed through some activities such as discussion, observation activity, reading, writing, and exercising.
