- It is known that satisfaction is a major part of human life. Human satisfaction is a never-ending demand. In this modern era, the demand to satisfy human needs increases each day including that for health services. Therefore, hospitals must continue to improve and innovate in order to improve the health services that it provides. The level of quality for health services can be measured using surveys. The aim of this study is not learn the dimension of service quality which are tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy towards inpatiens in Rumah Sakit Gotong Royong Semampir Surabaya by calculating Public Satisfaction Index. The sample used in this study consists of 100 respondents. This research is conducts interviews and questionnaires to collect the data. The result of this study shows that the health services of inpatients in this hospital can be categorized as good. Nevertheless, it should be noted that the ability of nurses to explain health services has a low mean score of 3.06.
