- Burns gives a great effect on humans, especially in terms of human life, suffering, disability, and financial losses. Burns can be caused by thermal injuries (fire, liquid/grease, and steam), radiation, electricity, chemistry. Damage and changes in various systems of the body related to burns trauma sometimes difficult to monitor, that’s why the problem is very complex. Understanding the burn phase, the degree of depth, breadth and severity of the burn will assist in handling. Burns should be managed by a trauma team consisting of the various disciplines. Dermatology viewpoint refers to dermato-therapy, pain management, and dyspigmentation. Keywords: Burns, Dermatology
