  • As the International language, English plays the important role as the means of communication. Because of this reason, many students want to prepare it by learning English seriously since they are in the high school. Although they are motivated to learn English, they sometimes face language anxiety. From this background, the researcher is interested in researching the language anxiety they faced. This study is based on three researcher instruments. They are: Anxiety scale, interview, and observation. To analyze the data, the researcher uses descriptive statistics. The result of the study shows that the students language anxiety level under this study is high. It is caused by several problems, mainly because they can not catch the material in English easily. The students expect that their teacher will give speaking and presentation assignments long beforehand. The students also need to have good preparation in learning English, especially before they presentation.
