  • The study aimed to determine the influence of maternal knowledge of autism as a moderating variable on the relationship between positive parenting and executive function in children's Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The subjects in this study were a mother who had ASD children aged 6-12 years, lived together in one house and was domiciled in the city of Semarang. The hypothesis in this study is 'Maternal knowledge of autism moderated the relationship between positive parenting and executive function in ASD children'. The number of subjects in the study was 40 people, with the technique of sampling ‘purposive sampling’. The data analysis in this study used regression analysis. As a result of this study, the maternal knowledge variable about autism (X2) strengthened the relationship between the positive parenting variable (X1) and the executive function variable in ASD children (Y) which was indicated by a determination coefficient value (R2) of 0.796 or an effect of 79.6%.
