- This study including evalution of nutrient status of children so called Balita (age 3-5) based on energy sufficent value (kal) and protein suficient value. At the age of the children good nutrition will support optimal growth and development. Hence infancy requires a balanced intake of nutrients such as energy and nutrient intake of protein intake and good nutrition knowledge of parents. There is the influence of balita parents work, parents' education, parental balita income, age and nutritional knowledge of parents on the nutritional status of energy and protein nutritional status in infants. The purpose of this study was to determine the nutritional status of children under five based on body weight for age (W / A) with the help of questionnaires that included self-identity of the respondents (which includes: weight, age, and income, employment, education, parents) to know the nutritional intake of energy and protein intake and a questionnaire on nutrition knowledge of respondents, and conduct direct interviews regarding "dietary recall" to parents. Taking the sample of respondents was done by random sampling in some infants in the village of Gogik in Ungaran City. Determination of sample size using the Krejcie-Morgan Formula. From these studies showed that working parents had no effect on the nutritional status of protein and energy nutritional status, parents' education affect the nutritional status of protein and energy nutritional status, parental income affect the nutritional status of protein and energy nutritional status, nutritional knowledge of parents influence the nutritional status of protein and energy nutritional status. Energy and protein nutritional status among children under five in the Gogik village, Ungaran city mostly quite good.
