- Entrepreneurial behavior is formed by traits ranging from personal, manner of attitude, behave, spirit and also ability in the handling of business. It is all necessary as a managerial and business skill. Personal nature, attitude, passion, behaviour and also ability reflect the characteristics of an entrepreneurial. An entrepreneur or an entrepreneurial candidate should learn and have entrepreneurial characteristics because entrepreneurial characteristics are an initial capital that must be on an entrepreneur to achieve the goals and success of the business in dealing with problems that change at all times. The purpose of this research is to know the characteristics of entrepreneurship in lumber entrepreneurs based on the theory of William D. Bygrave. The sampling method uses the Purposive sampling method, with some predefined criteria the number of samples being 15 respondents. The results of this research show that timber entrepreneurs already have the characteristics of entrepreneurship based on William D. Bygrave consisting of dream, decisiveness, doers, determination, dedication, devotion, details, destiny, dollars, distribute.
