  • This study aims to identify the factors that determine the success of Soegijapranata Catholic University student entrepreneurs in Semarang, based on the theory of business success factors according to Basrowi and Suryana which are measured by 7 variables, including (1) Motivation; (2) Age; (3) Experience; (4) Education; (5) Ability and Will; (6) Strong determination and hard work; (7) Opportunities and Opportunities. The conclusions in this study are (1) High motivation variables in entrepreneurship. This means that entrepreneurs have a high motivation or motivation to start a business, have high enthusiasm and are committed to achieving success. (2) Age variables do not support the success of entrepreneurs, meaning that any age at the start of a business does not determine entrepreneurial success because there is no age standard. (3) Entrepreneurial success is supported by a strong experience in entrepreneurship. This means that entrepreneurs have experience in entrepreneurship, have knowledge and skills. (4) Entrepreneurial success is supported by good education in entrepreneurship. This means that entrepreneurs have formal and non-formal education that helps in entrepreneurship. (5) Entrepreneurial success is supported by a high ability and willingness in entrepreneurship. This means that entrepreneurs have expertise, have an initiative attitude and are innovative and have creative ideas. (6) Entrepreneurial success is supported by strong determination and high hard work in entrepreneurship. This means that entrepreneurs have the nature of not giving up easily, always struggling and working hard and having an optimistic attitude. (7) Entrepreneurial success is supported by high opportunities and opportunities. This means that entrepreneurs can create an opportunity, can recognize consumer needs, develop products and can understand the current market trends.
