  • The study aims to determine the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The hypothesis in this study is there is a positive relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment, if job satisfaction is high then organizational commitment is high, so is the opposite. The subjects of this study were 65 employees of PT. X. Data retrieval uses two kind of scales, namely the scale of job satisfaction and scale of organizational commitment. The method of analysis in this study is Pearson's product-moment correlation. The research hypothesis is accepted, there is a positive relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The results of statistical calculations rxy = 0.575 with (p <0.01) very significant. Key words: organizational commitment, job satisfaction.
