Batik is one of industrial sector that has a great potent to enter the global market. Batik has a uniqueness characteristic of management because it is not only industry but also culture. Batik industry center in Giriloyo Imogiri Yogyakarta has many classic problems such as production and marketing. Giriloyo’s development pattern is culturepreneur can be applied in general batik industry. Culturepreneur is one of strategy to develop and make batik industry face the global market continuously. Culturepreneur is hybrid professional concept. Culturepreneur in batik center will make a stronger network, easier and broader marketing, sophisticated product innovation and better synergy with government.
