- The title of this legal research is “effort Yogyakarta Resort in overcome football online gambling”. Background on which to base this legal research is, Yogyakarta Resort Police effort to overcome online gambling in Yogyakarta City. Purpose of this study to determine the Yogyakarta Resort Police effort to overcome online gambling and what the barriers are, as well as one of the requirements to earn his law degree at the faculty of law of, Atma Jaya Yogyakarta. the method used in the writing of this research is using normative methods. The results of this research is that information and communication technology tools developed at this time have adverse effects that lead to crime on of is online football gambling practices, especially in the area of Yogyakarta City. Yogyakarta Resort Police have an obligation to overcone this problems but Resort Police Yogyakarta have constrains in performing their duties, and Yogyakarta Resort Police will continue to strive to practice this gambling missing from society.
