- The title of this legal research is "Role and Policy Resort Police Sleman in Gambling Prevention in Sleman Regency ". Background on which to base this legal research is, Sleman Resort Police efforts to prevent the practice of gambling in Sleman regency. purpose of this study to determine the Sleman Resort Police efforts to prevent the practice of gambling and what the barriers are, as well as one of the requirements to earn his law degree at the faculty of law of, Atma Jaya Yogyakarta.the method used in the writing of this research is using normative methods. The results of this research is that Many people still practice of gambling, and gambling practices continue to evolve with the development of technology, especially in the area of Sleman Regency. Sleman Resort Police have an responsibility to prevent and repressive this problems and Resort Police Sleman have constraints in performing their duties, and Sleman Resort Police will continue to strive to practice this gambling missing from society.
