- This research entitled Review towards Role of Law Consultant on Problem Settlement of Client who as Victim of Criminal Action on Household Violence. The background of problem is that household violence is very complex, thus the law consultant should be able to demonstrate their competence. Therefore, they will be proper party on problem settlement complained by client, especially client who as victim of criminal action on household violence. The problem based on that background is what step conducted by law consultant to accompany such client. Steps conducted by law consultant to accompany such client is asking client identity and then ask client to tell out the occurred incident of violence and classified the experienced violence whether belong to form of physical, psychological, sexual or economic violence, offering solution with mediation or court way.And the final step if mediation way is not success is the settlement via court way by over it to pointed advocate.
