- Prosecutor as one of the law enforcement agencies have a vital role, especially in the case of the prosecution of criminal cases. Before becoming a public prosecutor in the trial, the prosecutor also has other important roles, namely the improvement of investigation report filed by the police as investigators. Of the examination of the file handed over to the prosecutor’sinvestigators are dificient or incomplete and also not perfect. Therefore, one of the prosecutor’s duties in the process of preprosecution as provided for in article 138 paragraph 2 of the code of criminal procedure is to restore the file to the investigator interroation with instructions to complete and perfect it. In terms of doing the above equipment interrogation the investigating authorities still run into confusion sometimes also be cluse in give by the prosecutor. Improvements already done so by the investigator still sometimes are seen shortcomings or imperfections. So as to prolong the process of preprosecution.
