  • Transformational leadership is a leadership pattern that many applied and considered to have a great impact to the advancement of today's organizations, including in Indonesia. Leadership PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) assessed have been able to implement a leadership pattern is characterized by a variety of changes and awards received by the organization. This study will analyze the mediating variables (intervening) the influence of transformational leadership and performance of employees of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) DAOP 6 Yogyakarta. Data retrieved by using a questionnaire submitted to the 110 employees of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) DAOP 6 Yogyakarta where the sample was a long time employee to work a minimum of 2 years. Data will be analyzed by the method of path analysis. The analysis showed that job satisfaction and work engagement are variables that mediate the effects of transformational leadership and performance of employees of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) DAOP 6 Yogyakarta. These results provide input for the management of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) DAOP 6 Yogyakarta to maintain and increase job satisfaction and work engagement as a trigger for increased performance of employees of PT.
