- This research is entitled The Effort of Police Force in Providing Law Protection towards Children who become the Victims of Violation Criminal Prosecution in Tasikmalaya. This research background is the glow of criminal prosecution occurred done towards children in Tasikmalaya.The problems emerged are: 1) What kind of law protection provided by police force towards children who become the victims of violation criminal prosecution; 2) How is police force’s effort to provide law protection towards children who become the victims of violation criminal prosecution in Tasikmalaya. This is normative law research which focuses on positive law norm in form of regulation rule. This research was conducted on Women and Children Protection Unit of Polrestaof Tasikmalaya. The result indicates that, the law protections provided by Police towards children who become the victims of violation criminal prosecution are : a) giving rehabilitation done in the institution or outside institution; b) giving protection from identity press through mass media to prevent labeling; and c) protecting victims in SHELTER (save home) of Integrated Service of Women and Children Enforcement (P2TP2A) of Tasikmalaya City to be developed and help the children go out from the problem. Furthermore, the police force’s efforts to provide law protection towards children who become the victims of violation criminal prosecution are with preventive and repressive efforts.
