- This study titled “Juridical Problematic of State-owned Electric Company (PLN) Ltd on implementation of Indonesian Republic Acts No 30 Year 2009 concerning Electricity”. The problem formulation was whether objective of PLN Ltd as limited company which it is to pursuing benefit in line with clause 2 article (2) of Indonesian Republic Acts No 30 Year 2009 concerning electricity. This study used normative law research, so it was require secondary data. Primary law material was obtained from analyse related law regulations, whereas the secondary law material derived from literature and interview towards informant which is Mr. Dedeng Hidayat as Chief Corporate Law Unit of Central PLN, Jakarta. PLN Ltd was a BUMN that have main objective to pursue benefit. However, PLN Ltd existence as BUMN also provide objective as same as with content of Clause 2 article (2) of Acts No 30 Year 2009 concerning electricity. Its objective was carrying out public service function in order to supply electric for all of Indonesian citizen fairly and spread it to all over population considering fourth paragraph of preamble and Clause 33 of Constitution 1945. PLN Ltd was a BUMN which got special assignment by Government as Public Service Obligation (PSO) based on Clause 66 of BUMN Acts. Distribution of special assignment to PLN Ltd in line with goal and objective of BUMN founding and supporting Clause 2 article (2) of Electricity Acts.
