- One of the rules that applied ASEAN is not able to interfere in domestic affairs, related to the principle of non-intervention agreement in ASEAN. But the human rights violations that occurred in Myanmar has been in the spotlight of the international community, especially in the case of humanitarian intervention must be respected.The study objective was to determine how the interpretation and implementation of the principle of non-intervention in ASEAN in particular about human rights violations in Myanmar and to determine whether the interpretation and implementation of the principle of non-intervention in accordance with the development of international law. Interpretation and implementation of the principle of non-intervention in the case of Myanmar in ASEAN has been implemented in accordance with the ASEAN Charter, and in accordance with the principles of international law,. However, the implementation of the principle of non-intervention in ASEAN are considered rigid and inconsistent with development.
