- The purpose of legal writing, titled Criminal Law Enforcement of Ilegal Sand Mining Players in Bantul was to identify and obtain the extent to which criminal law enforcement against the perpetrators of illegal sand mining and to identify and to obtain data about effort – an effort by the government to prevent yan tackling crime and environmental destruction on pasiri illegal mining activities. The method used in this research is normative and deductive research starts from anahlisa against legislation – laws that govern the problem and its application practice based on concrete circumstances that occurred. Legal principle in this research using legal principle Lex Specialist Derogat Legi Generali. Analysis of secondary legal materials by looking for similarities, differences and of the speakers source. Last comparing primary legal materials with secondary legal materials. Results from this study is that found in violation of the provisions - provisions of the mining law by the perpetrators of illegal sand mining. Generally, a violation of the form taken is as contained in Article 11 paragraph (2) Act – Basic Mining law. Task of the government in criminal law enforcement against perpetrators of illegal sand mining is to legalization for the sand mining activities.
