- This research writes about the use of the beach border along the coast in the village of Sanur Kauh. In the spatial plan for the city of Denpasar, it is regulated regarding the use of a coastal border that is at least 100 meters from the highest tide point towards the mainland. However, based on empirical facts, as many as 30 buildings use coastal land to build restaurants, even though coastal land is a protected area that is free from any development, because the coastal area is in a disaster-prone area. Activities that are allowed are only related to beach recreation and balawista security posts.Related to the research method used is an empirical research method in which primary data is obtained from respondents. Primary data is paired with secondary data which consists of primary legal materials and secondary legal materials. The conclusion from the results of this study is that the public works and spatial planning services have taken action against coastal border violators who have restaurants. enforcement is carried out in stages, starting from giving a warning letter to dismantle it independently to forced demolition carried out by civil service police.
