- The purpose of this paper is to give information to other people about impact marriage contract especially for legal standing of child because marriage contract. This paper uses normative method, in which focus on law codification. Contract marriage is illegal married in Indonesia, because the implementation in contract marriage is not proper based on Marriage Law. Marriage contract has an impact for the child, the impact are, the child as an illegal kid, and in terms of fulfilment of the rights of the child it is difficult to fulfil for children from contract marriage, one of example is on the fulfilment of the rights of the child to obtain inheritance, because the child is the result of contract marriage, the legal relationship between the child and parents is not existed
