  • The Covid-19 Pandemic has occur for 2 years more than 163.118 in West Java confirmed Positive of Covid-19. Masks themselves are something that is very much needed to reduce the spread of Covid-19 but is widely misused by some people. The thesis intends to analyze how Law No. 8 of 1999 regarding Consumer Protection could protect consumers of Illegal Masks in regards to damages they suffer, what could the consumers do towards the condition and what is the dispute resolution in a civil, criminal or administrative manner, and how businesses are held liable towards their conduct. The research method implemented in this thesis is empirical legal research. It is a research conducted focusing on social facts. This is done by collecting primary data supported by secondary data consisting of primary legal materials, secondary legal materials and tertiary legal materials.
