- The title of this research is “Law Enforcement Againts Illegal Sand Mining Based On Regional Regulation Of The Special Of Region Yogyakarta Number 1 Year 2018 Regarding Management Of Metal, Non-Metal, And Rock Mining Business (Case Study of Sand Mining in the Progo River Basin, Bantul Regency)” was motivated by the rampant of illegal mining that caused environmental damage and victims.This study aims to provide knowledge and explanations about the implementation of law enforcement related to illegal sand mining, This study aims to provide knowledge and explanations about the implementation of law enforcement related to illegal sand mining. The data obtained from several sources and respondents were analyzed qualitatively. This study concludes that the form of law enforcement carried out by the Bantul Regency Government related to the problem of massive illegal sand mining in the Progo River in Bantul Regency is carried out in the form of preventive measures such as supervision, monitoring, socialization, holding forum meetings and then law enforcement with other measures. efforts such as closure of mining businesses, revocation of permits as well as further action and imposition of sanctions according to the mechanism in regional regulations
